Mini Big Lots Haul

I got out of class early and decided to check out what they had at Big Lots and I spent like half an hour in the makeup aisle....yup lol

There were many products and as usual people aren't civil and stuff is scattered lol. I was able to find some cool stuff:)

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in Dark 0. Turns out this is a shade darker than me in their color range but because this is all fluffy and light, I can use a small amount and get coverage without it looking dark. I love th consistency and feel and how it looks but it isn't good with oil control and that's even after setting it with a powder. I'll try it more but that's what I've noticed so far.

Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Soft Plum. I used to buy their mineral blush in soft plum so I was excited to find this hidden in there. After using it I love it. Its so blendable and smooth and the color is buildable.

L'Oreal Endless Lipstick in 700 Soft Plum. This is a great color but might be a bit dull on me? I think it looks good though. It has a matte finish but not dry.

Maybelline Moisture Extreme SPF 15 in c377 Rose Luster. This has such a beautiful sparkly sheen. Although I was a bit put off by the glitteryness, when it's on the lips you don't really see it. It's a nice purple, nothing fancy, very light and moisturizing on the lips.

Maybelline Volume XL Seduction Plumping Lipcolor in 120 Peach Plump. Obviously you can tell, I DON'T need lip plumping anything I got some big full lips but I loved the color a lot. When I first put this on it was numbing my lips and burned a bit from it but after trying it other times it only felt that way a bit. I'm not used to lip plumpers so maybe the sensation is normal.

The little red sponges are nice:) I use less cleanser by using them. Just wet the sponge, add some cleanser, get it foamy and voila! It gently exfoliates as I clean which is great for me.

IN A NEW YORK COLOR MINUTE QUICK DRY NAIL POLISH

L-O-V-E!

I have been into doing my nails every once in a while lately. Nothing fancy. Well, being that I'm cheap, I bought this NYC nail polish because being a mom my time is limited and I need faster drying time.
I got the shade: Sidewalkers (270) its a grey, in the pic comes off kinda blue but it looks amazing. Great neutral for fall. It looks very chic with any clothing or makeup I wear and my favorite part, it LASTS!
How many times have I gotten a polish and it chipped within the next day....
Oh yea..
But this one lasts for like a week (mind you I applied a top coat),ya I get little chips here and there but it is amazing quality for the price and I definitely recommend to any and everyone.
I literally was watching tv, painted one hand, then the other, then each foot, came back to the first hand, applied a second coat to it and the rest and didn't even think about if it was dry for a second coat.

Here's a pic with it on:

Pros:
• Long Lasting
• Doesn't easily chip
• Affordable
• Great color
• Dries Fast

Cons:
•None

Fall Lipstick Love

Yea, I pretty much found my favorite shade of lipstick for this fall. I've been wanting a purple and this one looks really good with my skintone.

This is mark's lipclick full color lipstick in Whiney.

I purchased samples of the lipclicks and fell in love with 3 shades: Toasty, Coral Fixation & Whiney. Whiney was that perfect fall purple I'd been searching for and I knew I had to have it.

This lipstick is creamy and feels so soft on your lips, I felt like it lasted a good amount and it's only $10.

I definitely recommend this lipstick. If you have questions about it, comment below :)

Cons:
•a bit powdery
•some shades are less pigmented
•some shades seem repeated on both

ELF Mineral Eyeshadow

In Beachy & Dreamy

These eyeshadows are super pigmented and long lasting for their price. I've only used them w/o eye primer and they lasted for hours without fading.
They're inexpensive and come in a variety of colors. My mom bought me this kit that came with an eyeshadow brush. Because they're loose they last a long time.
I'd definitely recommend these to everyone because they're worth getting, especially if you're first starting out with makeup or trying different colors and looks and want an inexpensive way to try stuff out. ELF is a great brand.

NYC City Duet Eyeshadow Duo in Bowling Green

I LOVE THIS. So when I was reading Becky's blog: http://www.everydaymakeupblog.com/
I saw her get the NYC City Duet Eye Shadow Duos. I really wanted to try them but at my local Target I didn't see them. So when I took a trip to Walmart with my best friend to wait for my brother to get out of his soccer practice I picked up the one is Bowling Green since I don't really have a nice green shade yet.

It looks really good on my skin tone and is nicely pigmented. I love that it's kind of matte, because some eye shadows are way too shimmery and that can get old.

Very inexpensive if you want to play with color, I highly recommend getting one to try or all of them even. I plan on getting the rest since I mostly use neutrals I love color but I feel like good shadows that are highly pigmented are hard to come by, so it's awesome to find a drugstore product that's inexpensive and highly pigmented.

$2.99 at your local drugstore :)

P.S:
Just in case you're wondering btw, I'm wearing mark. Liplick Full Color Lipstick in Toasty, it's a great pinky nude for my NC42 skintone. $10 on my eboutique: http://arioja.mymarkstore.com. Sign up as my customer and you'll recieve a special coupon:]

E.L.F. Eyelid Primer

Primer seemed like the least important thing to me for the longest time.
I'd seen people using primers for this and that.
Reviews on this eye primer seemed good so I figured, for $1 why not try and see what the hype was about.
Now I'm not the type of person to wear crazy eyeshadows and designs. Normally I stick to my neutrals, browns, coppers, etc and my eyeliner and mascara.
Every now and then I want to try a colorful look.

After purchasing this eye primer, I really liked it. My eyeshadow stays longer, it creates a smooth base for when I apply my eyeshadow and it's $1 again.

What do you have to lose?

(left)This is the primer just applied to my hand so you can see the product out of the tube.
(right)This is a L'Oreal Pigment in a pink color. On the left is the pigment applied over the ELF primer and on the right is w/o primer. A clear difference. Need I say more?

BEST MASCARA EVER!

I'm not just saying that.
Never, since I've been wearing makeup have I ever found a mascara that does everything I want it to do.
It gives volume, curl, length and makes my lashes look absolutely amazing!
It isn't waterproof, which is my preference but it lasts all day so it doesn't bother me.
No flaking. No clumps.

LOVE!

It's the mark Lash All You Want High-Volume Mascara
The mark. website's description says: "Instantly add up to 12X the volume in just one coat! Unique brush has bristles at the tip to get at the tiniest lashes."

I have to agree, it really gives an amazing amount of volume. I have short lashes, they don't stand out, but with this mascara, it makes them look so good I sometimes go without eyeliner which is my NUMBER ONE makeup item I wear everyday.

Packaging: Pretty & Sleek. Has the part in the tube to remove excess mascara off bristles
Formula: AMAZING
Brush: Gets every lash and you can get to those hard to reach smaller lashes, I love this on my bottom lashes
Price: Similar to drugstore prices, this is an Amazing mascara for only $10

L'Oreal Extra Volume Collagen Waterproof Mascara

I was in search of the perfect mascara. On a whim I picked this mascara up. I have a thing about getting waterproof since it stays longer in my opinion.
I used it and I loved the volume and curl it gave me but I HATED the clumps. I can't stand clumpy mascara, and nothing was working to get rid of it, I tried cleaning the brush off and brushing my lashes it just made it worse, I tried using a comb and it didn't help.

The packaging was pretty and sleek and the mascara itself gave volume but not enough to wow me. So I continued my search.
