My Clothing Line

So if you read my blog, you probably know that I'm a designer.
I'm in school getting my certificate. I have a while to go though haha.

Right now I'm finishing up my project of getting my line together to present to "buyers"
and yes I could actually start selling this stuff to real buyers or on my own.

ANYWAYS

This is my mood board....This is the inspiration for my clothing line, Andrea Yasmeen.
It's Alice In Wonderland inspired with an edge to it.
It's got bright colors, structured clothing and flowy pieces.
There are 10 pieces.
It's a Spring Line.

It's a plus size line.

I don't want to post sketches yet, but I will when it comes together:]

I think you'll fall in love <3

Gillette Venus and Olay Razor REVIEW

This is the razor I got in my Influenster Love Vox Box
It's the Gillette Venus & Olay Razor

"About the Gillette Venus & Olay Razor:
  • Venus’ five-bladed razors shave you close and adjust to women’s curves for a smooth and comfortable shave, even over tricky shaving areas like knees and ankles.
  • Olay Moisture Bars contain skin-enhancing elements found in Olay products: Petrolatum helps lock in skin’s moisture for less dryness and Glycerin helps offer that goddess glow! Just wet the razor to release a light lather – no separate shave cream required.
  • As with most Venus razors, new Venus & Olay also features a rounded, pivoting head designed for women’s curves, and a soft-grip ergonomic handle for confident control, even in wet and soapy environment"

It has 5 blades and Olay moisture bars.
This is showing my first time using it. Brand New, this is what the razor looked like.

Here's after my shower and shaving:

Notice how much the bars dissolved.
I shave 4 areas. While shaving, I rinse the blade off each time.
This is most likely contributing to how much of the moisture bars were used.

BUT despite that, it's a great razor!

I felt soooo smooth after, the moisture bars really help a lot. I noticed less razor bumps.

I don't personally like the rectangle shaped razors, I prefer them to have curves, since it just glides and gets into areas better, but I had no problem with this.

Pros:
-Great razor
-Leaves skin smooth
-Moisture bars lubricate skin for easy shaving

Cons:
-The moisture bars don't last

Overall, I probably wouldn't repurchase, I'll stick to my Venus Embrace but if you like these types of razors, this is a great one to try out.

Visit: www.gillettevenus.com for more information about this razor

Disclaimer: I received these products complimentary through the Influenster VoxBox product testing program.

Shea Moisture: Moisture Retention Shampoo and Restorative Conditioner REVIEW

Hey everyone!

I have been super busy trying to get my line together and everything BUT here's a review I'm finally ready to share with you all.

It's on the Shea Moisture Line's Organic Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo & Organic Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner.

I bought these at my local Target for $9.99 each.

They're both 12oz.
The conditioner has a pump but the shampoo doesn't, it's just a cap that pops up when you push down.

My hair is naturally curly, it's dry and I've dyed it so many times and use hot tools on it, so it's damaged. Isn't as bad as it used to be but it's bad.
I wanted something natural that was sulfate free and had no bad chemicals that could damage my hair even more. I want to reconstruct my hair so it's beautiful and shiny and soft. I didn't just want to mask it for a day.

With normal shampoos and conditioners, ya you clean your hair and it smells good, but it's temporary. The ingredients in it pretty much wash off anyways, you don't retain the moisture.

I've used deep conditioners, moisturizing shampoos, stuff for damaged hair, etc. Nothing really helped, besides haircuts.

Since I'm trying to grow my hair out to how long it used to be, I don't want to have to get haircuts to get the hair I want.

I picked up this line and was BLOWN AWAY!

I admit, at first I wasn't too big on it.

Here's the thing. I started with the shampoo, only put a dime size in my hand and it didn't feel like I put anything in my hair, so I poured more, and more. It didn't sud for me, which I'm so used to from other shampoos. So I just finished working it into my hair, rinsed and started on the conditioner. This wasn't super soft feeling either, it felt like just my hair. I left it in a few minutes and rinsed out. Nothing. So I felt disappointed the first time, especially since this was the most expensive shampoo and conditioner I'd ever bought.

Once my hair was dry it felt soft though.

Then I kept using it, I've been using it a few weeks now and my hair is transformed.
I still have split ends from previous damage, but only haircuts can help with that.
But my hair is soft, shiny, smoother and just much more manageable.

I'm really loving this set and I will definitely be repurchasing.
I'm so glad I found a shampoo & conditioner that are natural, organic, cruelty free and have no harsh chemicals. Plus it smells pretty good:]

Oh & the conditioner can also be used as a leave in! Awesome!

Pros:
-Cheap price for the quality
-Restores damaged hair
-Cruelty Free
-No harsh chemicals
-Organic
-Leaves hair soft and shiny

Cons:
-Not sudsy

LOVE LOVE LOVE
Check it out if you want to try and restore your damaged hair.
It can be found at Target, Walgreens and Walmart

Knit and Crochet Love:]

Hey Everyone:]
Ever since I was little I've watched my mom knit.
I learned from an early age how to knit, crochet & hand sew.
Now I'm in design school designing my plus size collection.

It's really exciting!

Anyways, I wanted to tell you guys about my mom's knitting Facebook Page & all that.
She knits a lot. She makes baby items, hats, socks and more.

I just made her an Etsy, FB & Twitter account to promote her craft.

So if anyone is interested in buying some stuff from her or even a custom order,
please email me or send me a message through FB or Twitter

Also, I've been crocheting a lot lately, so if you want something crocheted, I'd be happy to sell you stuff too. I just finished an owl hat for my daughter the other day and I'm proud of myself.
I've made hats and gloves.
I'm really into these cute hats right now, like I'm working on a cupcake right now

Please check out the links & share, it'd mean SOOO MUCH to me <3

LOVE VOXBOX! Influenster

FINALLY!
I've been seeing people getting their Love Boxes and I've been here dying to get mine.
It's been a while since I've posted too.
This is the Influenster Love VoxBox

I received this by becoming an Influenster, check them out. It's a great program where you get products for free if you qualify by getting certain badges.

This is my second box and I really love it.
I get super excited to get boxes.
BUT I hate that I end up seeing what I'm getting beforehand because others get them before me usually. Since I'm on the west coast I'm one of the last people to recieve mine.
It's definitely worth the wait though.

Gillette Venus & Olay Razor: $8.99-$10.99
We all know how expensive razors can get. I was so happy to get this. I'm not a big fan of moisture bars but I'm really excited to try this out and see how it works. It's a really pretty razor.

Kiss Nail Dress-Fashion That Sticks: $6.99
I've never tried nail stickers but I used them right away to try them out, post will be coming soon haha.
They remind me of Snooki :]

Truvia Natural Sweetener: $3.99 (40ct)
I prefer sugar lol but this is okay. It's not very sweet, I prefer Stevia in the Raw for stevia but it's not bad. Probably will be posting a review soon.

Stash Herbal Tea Sampler: $3.50
I love TEA, so much. I'm not a big fan of flavored teas, like fruits and spices. I like my green, black, chamomille and stuff. But I've tried some, iced and I LOVE THEM.

Ghirardelli Gourmet Milk Creamy Devotion Bar: $2.99
OMG THIS CHOCOLATE IS AMAZING.
Enough Said.

There you have it :]

Some coupons were also included for future purchases which is awesome.

Check out Influenster & come back to see reviews on the products I recieved

<3 you all

Spring Trend: Bold Color on Bottom Lash Line

I'm really loving this trend. I'm going to invest in colored eyeliners. I used to have every color when I was in middle school and I'd do crazy rainbow eyes but now I know what brands are good. Definitely going to be checking out NYX for that.

Here I used: Coastal Scents 88 Color Palette to achieve the bright teal color using my Eco Tools Angled Eyeliner Brush.

I want to try every color now! Haha I thought it looked pretty cool.
